Tales from the Pond…

Well, evidently there’s work still to be done(!), but progress is being made on the new pond; located in the lower part of the garden, it will have lighting and fountains. Paths will lead you there from the other parts of the garden, and it’ll have a raised deck/boardwalk over it too. As you might expect, we’re doing our best to make it eco-friendly; it’ll be fed from rainwater from the roof as well as drainage from the wider grounds, and the planting will be wild and natural, with wetland plants and wild flowers. It’s going to be a terrific background for your special occasion photos, but more than that; a tranquil and relaxing place for visitors to wander down to and spend a while.
