Conveniently located just off the A595, we are in easy reach of Cockermouth, Workington, Whitehaven and the M6. We understand the needs of businesses and have conference facilities to suit different occasions, with our dedicated conference team ensuring your day runs seamlessly and as you need it to.

Each room has all the technology you need including Wi-Fi, projectors and screens and our flexible but attentive hospitality will help ensure your day is both productive and enjoyable.

We have a number of different rooms which can accommodate different size groups from 2 - 200. To make a reservation or enquire about holding a conference, please contact the hotel direct and the conference team will be more than happy to help.

Our Meeting Rooms

  • Solway Suite: This is the largest of our conference spaces, and can seat up to 200 delegates depending on layout.
  • Solway Lounge: Located just off the Solway Suite, this room can seat up to 45 delegates.
  • Solway Conservatory: Offering wonderful views of the Gardens and the Solway Firth, this room is ideal for a smaller event and can accommodate up to 20 people.
  • Boardroom: Located in a quiet wing of the Hotel, this room can seat up to 25 delegates.

We offer a variety of layouts, including Cabaret, Theatre, Boardroom and U-Shaped styles. However, if you would like to discuss an alternative, a member of staff will be happy to help if you contact the hotel directly.


All rooms come with complementary Wi-Fi access, stationary including pads and pencils, iced water, cordials, and fresh fruit throughout the day. The hotel also has ample on-site parking which is free to use for guests

  • Room Hire for the full day in one of the Solway Suite - £150.00

Equipment can also be hired from the hotel and all conference facilities have screens and projectors which can be supplied at the following costs:
